Remember Me?
Hi Everyone! I know it's been forever since I've posted anything newsworthy but I swear I've been busy. With three of my own blogs and multiple others, with which I collaborate, there's never a dull moment. I recently added some new music photos and have so many more to add. Check out sarahbibiable.com for more musings. xx, S
Solo Show Announcement
I am delighted to announce that I be exhibiting my work in the form of a solo show at Tillie's of Brooklyn in Fort Greene. The exhibit will go up on the night of July 5th, 2010 and will be shown for a full month. I'd be so happy if you'd stop by to show your support. More information is available through the link above. Tillie's is located at 248 Dekalb Ave. at the corner of Vanderbilt Ave.
And One More Thing...
I may have been absent in the world of sarahgainer.com, but I have been shooting. As a staff photographer for No Pulp Music, I've been busy shooting their monthly showcase at Arlene's Grocery. Once I get my act together, I plan to include these shots on my site.
It's Been Ages
Wow. It's been so long...and this is all I have to share: In August of this year (2010), I'm due to have a solo show at Tillie's of Brooklyn in Fort Greene. More info to come!
It'll Happen
Two of my images are being featured in the Love Issue of an online Canadian blog called It'll Happen.
Featured Work on the Lower East Side
My work can currently be seen at Avenue A Sushi Bar. (Avenue A, between 6th and 7th St.) My piece, Cole, from my New Work section on my website, is part of the Spring Group Art Show. All art work in this show is for sale.
Work Featured on Recessiongirl.com
A selection of my images are being featured on a Brooklyn-based blog called Recession Girl.
Relocation Again!
It's a new year and I've got a new address to prove it. I'm back in Brooklyn and ready to roll. I promise to blog more soon.
Blogging
I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and start a photography blog, even if just to start a record of the artists that I'm particularly drawn to. I'm no critic but I've gotten sick of all the Post Its of inspiration on my desk and this seems a bit more practical. Check it out!
Exhibition at Naidre's
I am currently exhibiting a solo show of my work from my Children's Series at Naidre's Cafe in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. The show will be up from November 13th through December 27th of 2008.
Relocation
I've relocated! I'm currently living in Lewisburg, PA, where I've accepted a graduate assistantship within the Department of Art and Art History in Photography at Bucknell University. It's certainly a huge change from the city but I'm finding myself anxious to start shooting in a rural environment.
Finally
I'm loving finding a place for all my images from the last several years. This is a learning process for me but I hope to have more up soon. Enjoy!
